Privacy Policy

This policy covers mcrayroofing.com, run by McRay Roofing & Exteriors (“McRay,” “we,” “us”). It explains what we collect when you visit the site or contact us through it, and what we do with it.

Information you give us

When you send a quote request or contact form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, anything you type in the message box, and which page you sent it from. That goes into our customer management system so our team can reach out about your roof. We use it to answer your request, schedule an inspection, and follow up on the work. We may contact you by phone, text message or email.

Analytics and advertising cookies

The site uses two third party tools that set cookies in your browser:

• Google Analytics tells us which pages people visit, how they found the site, what kind of device and browser they used, and their approximate city.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) helps us measure whether our ads lead to visits and requests, and lets us show ads to people who have visited the site.

Both tools also record when someone submits a form or taps a phone number, so we can tell which pages and ads produce real calls. They do not receive the contents of your form. Google and Meta handle this data under their own privacy policies.

Our service area pages also show an embedded Google Map, and Google may set its own cookies inside that map.

Your choices

• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
• Opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add on.
• Manage how Meta uses this activity for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.
• Reply STOP to any text from us to stop receiving texts.
• Email us to ask what we have on file about you, or to have it corrected or deleted.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies that help us run the site and our business (website hosting, our customer management system, and our phone, text and email providers), with Google and Meta as described above, or when the law requires it.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep contact requests and job records as long as we reasonably need them for the work, warranties, insurance claims and our business records.

Children

This site is meant for homeowners and business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
