The look of quarried slate, at a fraction of the weight and none of the fragility.

What Is Synthetic Slate?
Engineered polymer tiles moulded from real slate, so they carry the cleft face and the irregular thickness of the stone. Natural slate weighs enough that most houses were never framed to carry it, and it cracks underfoot; synthetic weighs a fraction as much, takes hail far better, and needs no structural work.
Why Choose Synthetic Slate
- The face of quarried slate without the structural weight
- Impact resistance natural slate cannot match
- No cracking underfoot, so it can be walked for maintenance
- We install DaVinci and Brava and hold the top certification for both
Common Questions
Can you tell it is not real slate?
Not from the ground, and rarely from the roof. The tiles are moulded from real slate, so the face and the thickness are the stone's own.
Which manufacturer do you use?
DaVinci or Brava, depending on the profile and the warranty you want. We are a DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor and a Brava Level 3 Craftsman.
